I bought a beautiful hickory butterfly spindle from Wendy, who makes these gorgeous pieces of art. It spins beautifully. I am spinning some romney and alpaca that I mixed together. Of course, there is a bit of Louisiana in the background. This is my newest "portable" spinning wheel.
